Safeguarding God's Children

The Pastoral Policy of the Evangelical Catholic Church

“There is no place in the priesthood or religious life for those who would harm anyone.”

The Evangelical Catholic Church is committed to fostering  parishes and missions in which its members and guests can explore their faith, exercise their ministries, and live out their vocations in safe and healthy settings.  We are committed to keeping everyone safe, particularly our children and youth

Overview

The goal is to make the Evangelical Catholic Church a healthy and safe place to worship, to work and to serve our Lord.  Faith flourishes when all people or confident that their church leaders, lay and ordained, can be trusted.  Our policies sets forth goals within our Church to provide support for those ordained and lay ministers to earn and maintain the trust of God's people.
