Chicago, Illinois - For Immediate Release  

 

Bishop, Clergy and Elected Officials
to gather at
Homewood Memorial Garden Cemetery
for vigil and blessings of
indigents buried
in disrespectful mass grave 
 

The Bishop of the Evangelical Catholic Church and members of its clergy, along with Cook County Commissioner John Fritchey and Cook County Sheriff Thomas Dart will gather at the recently created mass grave of indigents at Homewood Memorial Garden Cemetery to pray and to share their sorrow at the disrespectful manner in which their remains have been buried. 

Bishop James Wilkowski, Evangelical Catholic Bishop for the Diocese of the Northwest will begin a prayer service at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, February 19th, at the site of this mass grave.  Joining the Bishop, Commissioner Fritchey and Sheriff Dart will be Father Rodney Reinhart of the Episcopal Diocese of Chicago, along with other clerical representatives.
