For Immediate ReleaseBishop James Alan Wilkowski Hospitalized after Heart Attack
Bishop James Alan Wilkowski. Evangelical Catholic Bishop for the Diocese of the Northwest was hospitalized in Chicago on June 5th, 2020 after suffering a heart attack at his residence.
Bishop Wilkowski, who had been experiencing chest pains for a few days prior, was working in his office when his pains increased to the point that he phone for an ambulance and he was transported to nearby Advocate Trinity Hospital and upon examination was admitted into their ICU and is currently under the care of cardiologist Dr. Paul Silverman.
In 2007 Bishop Wilkowski underwent successful emergency quintuple cardiac bypass surgery and has no cardiac problems since then.
The Bishop is currently resting comfortably and in good spirits.
