Diocese demands that State take over management of Homewood Memorial Gardens Cemetery

The Evangelical Catholic Diocese of Northwest today calls upon the State of Illinois to assume management of Homewood Memorial Gardens Cemetery in wake of news that the cemetery has been lacked in the timely burial of bodies.

“The record of Homewood Memorial Gardens has demonstrated that a disregard for the dignity towards those who have died – indigent or not.”

Evangelical Catholic Bishop James Alan Wilkowski will write to the State next week to demand their direct involvement in the management of Homewood Memorial Gardens.
