Bishop to participate in 1st Annual
Chicago-Wide Chain of Change Anti-Violence Vigil

October 10, 2009 

 

The Evangelical Catholic Diocese of the Northwest is pleased to announce plans to in the city wide Chicago Chain of Change Anti-Violence Vigil in Chicago. 

On Saturday, October 10th, 2009, Bishop James Wilkowski, Evangelical Catholic Bishop for the Diocese of the Northwest, will join an ecumenical effort by city wide clergy and stand vigil at 4800 N. Sheridan Road in Chicago - the site of a unsolved homicide involving one of Chicago's youth - and pray for an end to the outbreak of violence against the youth of our city community. 

The Bishop will begin his vigil at 11:30 AM and conclude at 12:00 Noon.
