Bishop Praises Bishop Thomas Gumbleton's
acknowledgement of being victim of Sexual Abuse
Bishop James Wilkowski, Evangelical Catholic Bishop for the Diocese of the Northwest praises the revelation by Bishop Thomas J. Gumbleton of his also being a victim of sexual abuse by a priest.
"The revelation by Bishop Gumbleton will only help the cause of ecumenical efforts to prevent sexual abuse within the ranks of the clergy."
Bishop Wilkowski, himself a victim of clerical sexual abuse, commends Bishop Gumbleton for his actions.
