The Evangelical Catholic Church will hold its annual National Church Conference and Retreat at the DeKoven Center of Racine Wisconsin during the weekend of May 30th, 2008.. This is an opportunity for our clergy and all canonical members of the Church to come together and pray, reflect and to take care of the pastoral agenda of the Church.
Our Conference and Retreat will begin with a gathering Mass on May 30th at 1:00 PM. The agenda for the Retreat and Conference will be posted and updated until May 15, 2008, at which time the agenda will be closed.
The fee for the 2008 Retreat and Conference will be $200.00 per person. This fee covers our first lunch after Mass on Friday until our departure lunch on Sunday. This fee must be paid to Bishop Doyle no later than May 15th, 2008. No reservations can be made after 5 PM on May 15th.
If you desire to spend any additional days and nights at the DeKoven Center, please ask Bishop Doyle for information regarding the additional fees for an extended stay.
It is strongly suggested that anyone needing to make airline or train reservations make them no later than April 1st, 2008. For those flying to the Retreat and Conference, please ask your ticketing agent to route you to Mitchell Field in Milwaukee. It is more cost efficient to fly into Mitchell than through the two Chicago airports.
As of this posting, Bishop Doyle is prepared to being accepting fees for the Retreat and Conference. You may opt to pay in full now or consider making budgeted installments - just as long as your fees are paid in full by May 15th, 2008.
